Alien Movies:
Alien (1979): **** Comment: An intense, scary movie. This is the best movie in the Alien movie series. The special effects
in this movie are very impressive even by today's high standards. Superb acting from a talented cast. This is Sigourney Weaver's
first movie and she has also done her best acting in this film. She plays Warrent Officer Ellen Ripley, and boy does she play
her character well! John Hurt is a treat especially in the famous "chestburster scene".
Aliens (1986): **** Comment: A great science-fiction action film. This movie takes place 57 uears after the first alien
film. James Cameron has done an excellent job of making this "terror-ific" sequel. Bishop, the robot, is amazing
and weird. By the way, this is the one where Ripley battles the Queen Alien!
Alien 3 (1992): *** Comment: Great, but not lively enough. David Fincher has made an alien movie that is more related
to "Seven" than the other Alien movies. Still, this movie has its moments, and then some! This time the alien comes
from a dog. I can't believe that David killed off Newt and Hicks in the beginning of the movie! That is basically what keeps
this movie fromm being a **** movie.
Alien Resurrection (1997): **** Comment: Although this isn't as good as the fiest two alien movies, it packs a lot of
punch! In this movie, Ripley is back after she is cloned by scientists. This movie is one hell of a scary roller-coaster ride!
Better than Alien 3! One word to describe this movie; GREAT!
